ABOUT US
Uroad Technology is an innovative education technology company located in Toronto, Ontario, offering a complete set of youth leadership courses for kids from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
The company adopts a youth development competency model and designs a full spectrum of learning models with a learning path that enables students to learn and develop critical soft skills.
By leveraging Uroad’s online textbooks, learning tests and post learning track backed by an AI assistant, physical toolkits, e.g. an inspiring vision board, virtual reality goggles and a virtual reality class, the students will build up their soft skill competencies step by step.
Founder and CEO
Jing Zhou (Barbara)
A serial entrepreneur and Associate Professor teaching business courses in Southwest Jiaotong University in China, Barbara has achieved many milestones in her career. She founded a 15-year consulting company, Sichuan Leading Consultant Co., Ltd, serving the niche market of EDP training and marketing services from 2004. She also co-founded the first online conference venue booking platform in China, Eventown, which now is well known as China’s Cvent and has covered more than 30,000 conference venues across the country since 2014. Besides, Barbara served as an advisor for a variety projects, given her outstanding performance in consulting, marketing and branding, and sharp business sense in trending technologies. Barbara holds a doctor degree in business management from Southwest Jiaotong University.

Co-Founder and COO (& Marketing)
Li Li
Li worked for an education consulting company between 2016 and 2018, providing IELTS English training and a few leadership courses for Chinese high school students who intent to study abroad. Li understands high school students and their learning habits specifically. In addition, Li has worked for an international trade company as General Manager starting from 2006, and worked as digital marketing director cooperated with Himalaya FM, the top-ranking internet radio and broadcasting company in China. She joined the team as Chief Operation Officer and Marketing Director to mainly responsible for local market sales and daily operation.
Co-Founder and CTO
Weiguo Li
Weiguo is a seasoned CTO, with 15 years experience of software development. He worked as CTO at Futuo Technology, an Information Technology Company in Shanghai. He has covered a lot of industries, with a rich profile of large development projects for F500 companies, including Panasonic, Coco-Cola, L’Oreal, China Electronics, Hospitals across China, many manufacturing companies, and governments. His deep knowledge of software development and leadership in the IT sector, gives the team lots of confidence to stand out.
